White House summit on the important topic of "Countering Violent Extremism".

The Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand (FIANZ) is pleased to acknowledge the invitation it received from the United States to a Summit on the important topic of "Countering Violent Extremism". The Summit, and related events involving civil society - took place at the White House on 18-20 February 2015 - had been organized by the White House, and leaders from various Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) around the world were invited to attend.
