Further to our earlier communication regarding the moon-sighting
of Shawaal, we would like to inform you that due to new development
in Fiji where some individuals have sighted the moon which fulfilled
the requirements of Sharee Shahada, the Fiji Muslim League has
reviewed its earlier decision and declared that Eid will be celebrated
on Monday, 28 Jul 2014.
The FIANZ Hilal Committee has accordingly endorsed Fiji Muslim
League's decision and declared that Eid in New Zealand will be
celebrated on Monday, 28 Jul 2014.
