The month of Ramadhan is about to begin, we eagerly anticipate its arrival and convey our best wishes to you all.
The Ulama Board would like to inform the Muslim community that the Sadaqatul Fitr is $10 per person. We would like to advise the community to pay it as soon as possible upon the beginning of Ramadhan so that arrangements can be made to disburse it to the deserving in time for them to utilise it for Eid. Paying at the last moment, while acceptable, makes it difficult to fulfil the purpose for it is paid. Therefore we request that it be paid as early as possible from the beginning of Ramadhan. FIANZ would like to send Zakat El Fitr to its lawful recipients by the end of the second week of Ramadan. We will continue to receive Zakat El Fitr contributions until Eid day, however please note that late payments will limit our ability to distribute the proceeds in a timely manner in terms of Sharia.
We pray to Allah SWT that the month of Ramdhan comes with its full blessing and Barakah, May Allah Azza Wa Jall give us Tawfiq and ability to discharge the noble duty of fasting in the best possible way.
