Flood In Fiji?-?Yet Again!?-?FIANZ Appeal

Assalaam Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatahu.
I pray to Allah (Subhana Wa Ta'ala) that you all are in the best of health and progressing in the path of Taqwa.
As you are all aware, Fiji was recently struck by devastating flood only in January this year. Just as it was recovering, Fiji has suffered yet another blow! The incessant rain has once again severely affected many parts of Fiji cutting off water and electricity supply to many parts of the country. According to Fiji Muslim League's (FML) report, "this is possibly the hardest hitting floods in our history. Places like Fatima Girls Hostel, Ba Muslim Primary, Nadi Muslim Primary and College were hit more than two times in the last 4 days; and to unprecedented levels of water and record of damages".
Access to homes affected has been a problem but FML, via its branches, has tried to reach out to about 1000 people. However, the problem has been further exacerbated by the serious threat of cyclone expected to hit Fiji soon. If this eventuates, more devastation is expected in Fiji.
Once again, we need to put our hands together to help our brethren in Fiji. FIANZ is once again launching a fundraising appeal to raise money to assist in the humanitarian relief effort for the people of Fiji. We request all to donate generously for this noble cause. Appropriate announcement/request should also be made at Masajid and Islamic Centres, particularly during Jumah prayer. Donations are to be directed to FIANZ's Appeal Account as detailed hereunder:
