On the Abduction of Schoolgirls in Nigeria by the Group known as "Boko Haram"

The Federation of Islamic Association of New Zealand adds its voice to the international condemnation of the kidnapping of schoolgirls in Nigeria by the group known as "Boko Haram". On behalf of the Muslim community of New Zealand we wish to disocciate completely from the actions of this group and to refute any claim that their actions can be sanctioned by our faith.
