Ms Yvonne Ridley's Visit to Auckland and Wellington

The Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand Inc. (FIANZ) is pleased to announce that it will be inviting Ms Yvonne Ridley, an experienced Journalist who was once held as an hostage by the Taliban in Afghanistan in early 2000.

As a Journalist, Ms Ridley has extensively covered Afghanistan during the period when it was under the control of the Taliban. Soon after her release from the Taliban, Ms Ridley embraced Islam. Since then, Ms Ridley has been travelling around the world speaking about the beauty of Islam. We had the pleasure of welcoming Ms Ridley to New Zealand in 2005.

Ms Ridley will address at the following gatherings:
